The Youth of the Centrist Democrat International (YCDI) brings together the young leaders of centre parties from every continent to defend democracy, strengthen institutions and renew politics.
About us
The YCDI at a glance
The YCDI acts as the youth forum of the IDC-CDI, entitling its member parties to a platform for promoting young leaders on an international scale. As part of the mission of the IDC-CDI, the YCDI objective is to encourage political innovation within a united front of centre political youth organizations adjoined by three key tenets:

What we stand for
Five principles guide every statement, project and school of the YCDI, from Brussels to every member party around the world.
Strong institutions
Political parties must encourage strong institutions that protect citizens' rights and property from arbitrariness.
Generational change
Generational change is key for any political organization. It must be sponsored actively through party statutes.
Liberty
Liberty is a necessary condition for any legitimate democratic political process.
Good policy-making
Leaders must be good policy makers; member parties of the IDC-CDI must promote the effective leadership of their youth.
